 Relationship between Turkey and other countries

I'll talk about relationship between Turkey and other countries. Among many countries, I'll talk relationship Turkey and Korea called brother's country.

The first is background of brother's country Turkey and Korea.

In 1950(nineteen fifty), the korea war broke out. Though Turkey is long distance from korea, Turkey sent the second most number of troop. At that time, Turkey lose about 1000(one thousand) soldiers, about 2000 soldiers were injured. This picture is Turkish soldiers in Korea.

Now, In Korea Gyenggido Yonginsi, There are monument for entering a war.

Also, Turkey set up nursery school named 'Ankara academy' for korean war orphan.

After the Korean war, korean forgot Turkey. but, In 1999(nineteen ninty nine), big earthquake hit Turkey. It caused about 40,000(forty thousand)casualties. Korea conducted a fund raising campaign for Turkey. Turkish was impressed by Korea.

Also, in 2002 Korea-japan world cup, when the soccer game between Turkey and Korea, Korean cheered Turkey and Korea.

In 2006 Germany world cup, Turkish cheered Korea team.

 

 

The second is present between Turkey and Korea.

Turkey educated student to "Korea is brother's country". so, Turkish think korean good. If korean travels Turkey, Turkish is very nice to korean.

Also, In ankara, There is Korea park. The park is korea traditional tower and monument for entering the Korean war.

 

The third is "In Turkey, Korean wave"

Korea broadcasting was broadcast on Turkey state TV from 2005. 40,000(forty thousand)people joined the Fan club named 'Korea Fans'. They are interested in Korean drama, movie, food, style, Korea trip and so on. But, The best interest is K-pop!!!!!!

For example, JYJ,SHINY,CNBLUE, SS501.

Last february five, JYJ Kim Jaejoong‘s fan meeting took place in Ankara university. it was reported on Turkish newspaper.

Also, he was invited Turkey and Korea state occasion.

Why did I choose Turkey?

Because Turkey is between Asia and Europe, Turkish culture was blended East and West. so, I was fascinated by Turkey.

[Costume of Turkey]



Costume of Turkey is called 'Kapeutaon'
Sleeve of Kapeutaon is long and overall atmosphere is colorful.
The case of Female,
various colors are mixed in customs. so female's beauty looks better.
The case of male,
they put on a Dark clothes. Also they put on boots to show charisma.



When people wear costume they must put on a jewellery hat.
Because jewellery hat is meant 'wealth'



But recently, for reasons of change of Various lifestyle costume
costume is altered like picture.



[Festival -Seker Bayrami]



The end of January : Seker Bayrami festival
This festival is held for 30days.
Traditionally children run the streets to gain candy or snack.
People have a dinner and exchange card.
At this moment Many charities send money to help people.
and at this moment you will difficult to reserve a room in a hotel.
So you have to prepare reserving a room.




[National Food]



*Kebab

Very very famous national food is Kebab.
There are so many kinds of Kebab.
Apart from this Kebab on the screen, there are various Kebab in Turkey.
The main ingredients of Kebab are lamb and chicken.




*Kumpir

This is Kumpir that many people like it.
Kumpir contains cheese, corn, pickle, vegetable...
You can choose a various topping~~~!!!




*Kofte

This food is similar to meatball.
People who dislike a smell of lamb don't try it!!

1.Hospitality of Turkey
General lifestyle of Turkey is hospitality.
Even if poor person, people observe the proprieties.
They give a guest too much food and drink.
So sometimes guest couldn't eat all.
I think that It's Fascinating but sometimes uncomfortable.




2.Bathhouse of Turkey
People really love to having a bath.
For that reason since the Middle Ages people have had a public bathhouse.
Interesting thing is hot stone at center of bathhouse.
People climd the stone and scrub off dirt on the stone.




[The Most Famous Sport]

In Turkey the majority are sport lover.
so there are all kinds of sport club.
specially soccer,basketball and volleyball are famous pro-sports.

Why I chose Turkey?
Because Turkey is our BROTHER NATION.
Since olden time, Korea and Turkey have kept a close connection.
When war and sport game,
Korea and Turkey always cooperate together^^

★Where is Turkey?


Turkey is the country on the Western tip of the Asian continent.
Turkey is near the Russsia Syria and Iraq..etc, and Turkey is between the Black sea and Mediterranean sea.

★This is Turkey!


Turkey's Capital is Ankara.
Originally Turkey's Capital was Istanbul but in 1923 Ankara was Turkey's new Capital.

-Turkey people use turkish kurdish and arabic. among them turkish is official language.
-Turkey’s main religion is islam.
-Turkey’s population is about 71million 800 and 90 thousand.
-Turkey have many city. among them Istanbul, Ismir and Konya are Turkey’s main city.


Turkey’s current president is abdullah gul.
He is Turkey's the 11th president.

Turkey's national flower is Tulip.


Turkey's national flag is Yildiz.
Yildiz means star and moon.

Turkey’s ancestors are the huns and Türk halklar.
Turk means strong, now Turkey people call themselves Turk.


Turkey’s ancient name is Osman empire.
In simple words thanks to osman empire as the world history moved from the middle ages to early modern age.
Osman empire is Turkey’s one of the greatest history.
